Having a fountain at the center of your garden will get you the feeling of the peace and calm environment at your home. By adding fountain to your garden there are so many other benefits of it such as you are providing a habitat to the birds and small fishes. In addition, you are increasing the greenery around your home for the fresh air and that would increase the rate of humidity in the garden through which your plants will grow healthier.
There are several methods through which you can easily have the fountain made by yourself in your garden. For this you have to purchase the fountain kit available in the market. Making a fountain with the help of these fountain kits is very simple. The required things except the kit are the water pump, some water plants, some rocks for filtering the water etc. All these things are easily available which you can purchase from any where near to you. There are several kits available in the market in which all these items are present. It is based on you that which you would prefer to purchase for your garden.
You can make a water lift fountain or a free fall fountain; it is according to you how you are willing to design the fountain’s flow in your garden. If you are interested in creating free fall fountain then you have to use water pump to pump the water up to the exact height and then allow the water to fall back to the bottom of the fountain. If you are interested in a lifting fountain, the water is pumped up ward with the help of a jet pipe and then it will fall back to the bottom of the fountain. However if the circulation of water is interesting for you, then you have to purchase a small circulating pump.
The other main thing which you have to keep in mind before setting the fountain in your garden is that you have to confirm first that you have sufficient electricity to charge the water pump. After planning all this you can start setting the fountain in your garden. For this you have to select a place to fix the fountain and you have to set the bottom of the fountain to fix the fountain on it. You have to place the water pump inside the pond in which you want to fix the bottom of the fountain and then you are required to attach the jet pipe, spraying and sucking pipes with it. If you add some rocks and bricks to the pound and cover the pump and pipes, it will give the natural look to your fountain and increase the beauty of your fountain. Now your fountain is ready to spray water.
