Attract birds to your garden

We all must be well aware of the beautiful voices of the birds. You would have heard several types of birds singing various melodies when you visit a garden or a zoo. The chirping of the birds gives a nice peace to the heart and makes our mood fresh. They start singing these melodies early in the morning which makes the heart happy all day long. But all of us don’t have the opportunity of hearing their melodies in the early morning or during day time as they remain around their nest or to a place which is suitable for them. But you can easily attract these birds to your garden.
There are several ways by which you can attract several types of birds to your own garden, let us discuss some of them:-
The first step that you have to take to attract birds is to opt for those plants which can attract several birds and can give them natural habitat. You can opt for landscaping plants, shrubs or you can also opt for the native plants which can help you in attracting birds by giving them natural environment. You should also consider the design of your garden before making it a bird garden. You can use wild flowers, bunch grasses to design your garden or you can also use small or large shrubs to design you garden in a birds’ friendly environment. You can also use vine plants as they can help you in providing the birds a natural environment. You can also place some dead trees as they are used by the birds for playing and especially woodpeckers use them to build their nest. These dead trees can help you in a great manner in making a natural habitat for birds.
The other thing which you can do to attract birds to your garden is that you can place nesting boxes for the bird. Making nesting boxes in your garden will help you in attracting the birds in a much better way as they can get a place where they can make their home and can live safely. On the other hand you can save your garden from all the dirt of the birds. Nesting boxes also assures the bird that they are safe here and can easily live a family life. In addition you can also put some food plates and water bowls to help the birds in getting their food and water easily. They can then easily stay in your garden all the day long and you can easily enjoy their singing and chirping at any time of the day.
