Love is among the most familiar words of this world. Every human being desires that he/she should be loved by everyone, and even the animals and birds desires love. Love is something which cannot be bought through money; it is a kind of devotion which a person shows towards another person. Love is necessary to maintain and cherish a relationship. A relationship desires care, trust, and love to prosper. One should choose the right person to build up a love relationship otherwise love relationship can sometimes turn into an abusive relationship. An abusive relationship is one in which any one of the partner is forcefully made to do any activity, or forced to live in a hampered condition.
Abusing in a love relationship can be of various forms, let us take a look at some of them:
Physical abuse is the most common of them and the person facing it experiences physical torture like kicking, slapping, pushing, smacking, shaking etc. This type of abuse can harm the person both physically and mentally.
The other type of abuse is emotional abuse and this type of abuse includes intimidation, emotional threats, betrayal, putdowns etc. In addition bullying, humiliation and intense teasing is also considered as emotional abusing. In this type of abuse the person is not allowed to do any work according to his/her will and is forced to work according to the will of the partner. Generally women face all these types of abusing. They are forced to dress accordingly and are sometimes not allowed to go out of the room. They are beaten badly and are kept without food for many days.
Jealousy and suspicion can even lead to an abusive relationship. The partner is tortured because of suspicion or jealousy and this type of abusing can sometimes even lead to death. Bad temper in relationship can also lead to an abusive relationship. Excessive beating and behaving in a cruel manner can be termed as an abusive relationship.
The other type of abuse is sexual abuse in which the partner is forced to make sexual contact even though she doesn’t want to. These cases of abusing takes place with women. They are sometimes forced to make sexual contact with her partner’s friends which ultimately lead to an emotional and physical stress. Sexual abuse can even lead to death of the person as excessive sexual contact weakens the immune system and can also lead to various deadly diseases.
So, if you are also facing any kind of abusive relationship, get rid of it by the help of several social institutions and government firms which works for this very purpose.
