Empty containers
Empty containers scattered all across the room? Men have this habit of leaving the containers out and not putting them in the trash. This might be a trace from the time of student accommodation, when they had to live in common environment.
In order to eliminate this habit, you should start strewing the place with empty containers as well and he will surely not like this and thus, stop doing it.
Hairs inside the sink
Whether it is shaving, malting or any other activity, men have a habit of leaving hair in the sink. This is their silent protest against your command to be clean and respectable.

Picking up the laundry

Just let him stack up his clothes this way and at a certain point, he will run out of clean clothes. Then he will really start considering picking them up and putting them in laundry basket.
