Specifically the term ‘Brazilian Waxing’ refers to partial genital hair removal, often leaving a strip of hair, whereas ‘Hollywood Waxing’ refers to total genital hair removal. The term ‘Brazilian Waxing’ is used on this page to refer to either total or partial genital hair removal. In other words, a Brazilian bikini wax removes the hair from the entire pubic region, except for a small patch just above the vaginal area.
