Is it possible for someone to feel and get high from consuming drugs and alcohol? Yes, absolutely it can be and is done, but the amount and the effect on a person using these substances, depends on the person or persons.
It is true that alcohol and drugs can make those to take it, feel at ease and give them a sense of relief but the effects of those drugs can be long lasting and cause health and physical problems that can last a lifetime.
Today, taking drugs and drinking alcohol is a common phenomenon that occurs every day in the world and most of the victims of this phenomenon are young teens and adults. In the world, there are young people who are on purpose drinking heavily to dull their senses and binge on drugs to enhance their sexual pleasure.
Also, most teens take drugs and alcohol to feel “cool” or to belong in a group or clique to give a sense of belonging, but what is there to be gained in destroying their body by drinking excessive alcohol and abusing narcotic drugs?
Most people say that people getting sensual high on alcohol and drugs is neither a legal nor a moral issue, it is an issue of that person having a right to enjoy them. Others say when people consume excessive amounts of these drugs and alcohol, they become socially and morally irresponsible, which causes them to commit crimes and/or other wrongdoings and they should not have the right to either use too much or none at all.
Where does the right for people who are old enough to drink how much they want and even use illegal narcotics rest? Does it rest in the user’s hands? Does it rest in the law’s hands? Or does it rest in the people’s hands?
Some say that the right for one to enjoy his or her self lay in the hands of those who use these drugs. Others say that the right for one to use drugs and alcohol to get high rest in the hands of the law, who decides what is legally right and wrong for people to use and some others say that the right for one to get high rests in the hands of the Almighty himself.
