Age Difference in Marriage

Marriage is one of the most important decisions that a person takes in his/her life. It is a decision to spend the rest of the life supporting and caring the concerned person. Marriages generally take place between a boy and a girl who are almost of same age. A difference of 5-7 years can be considered when finding a partner. But there are very few cases in whioch the age difference have crossed a limit. Many marriages take place in which either the bride or the groom is very small in age as compared to the other partner. These marriages generally take place because of two reasons that is love and money. These types of marriages generally do not succeed for a long time.
There are several factors because of which these type of marriages do not succeed for a long time, let us discuss two major factors:-
? In the first few months the couples live and enjoy with each other because they both were new to each other but after some time they start getting bored of the other person because of large difference in age. At this point the relationship starts breaking up. The case of infidelity is common in these types of marriages because the younger partner generally do not feel satisfied with the older partner. On the other hand the older partner always has the fear that his/her partner who is relatively much younger may be involved with some other person. In just a month or two the intimacy between the two individuals reduces to such an extent that they start abusing each other and don’t even want to see each other’s face. The main reason of this is that the younger person notice that his/her partner is growing older and is developing white hairs, wrinkled skin at a much faster rate which ultimately results in avoiding the partner.
? The other problem related to age difference in marriage is that the understanding of the two individuals does not match because of the large age difference. The choice and opinion of the two people clashes time and again which results in several problems and conflicts. Even the common things do not match like food choice, music choice, and entertainment programs etc which ultimately results in breaking of the relationship.
So, if your are involved in any such marriage and want to live a successful marriage life then try avoiding the above stated factors as they can ruin your marriage life.
