If you are seeking a romantic date with a guy, then, sitting at one of the quiet corners in the restaurant, engaging in conversation and holding hands together, is definitely a nice picture to have in your mind.
But something can easily happen and overthrow the general mood. Therefore, below you will find some advice on how to keep things going romantic when you are on a date.
Listening to your partner
Do talk a little, but also listen to your partner. It makes them feel valuable as well as appreciated in their opinions, if you pause and listen to what he says. Because, you most definitely like it when someone listens to you, your date will surely appreciate your favor.
Don’t talk about the past
Avoid talking about your past or start a conversation by saying your former partner was like this or like that. This always turns off every possible conversation and it can be a rude thing to say.
Don’t mention about past loves, mistakes you have made or other relationships you have been into. You can just keep quiet on this subject. If the date brings it along, you might as well brush it off.
Ordering real food
Guys are not impressed when they see women not eating anything on a dinner, or just serving salad with some dressing.
Therefore, even though you are dieting, make an effort and eat some real food on the date, just for the sake of it. Order a rich pasta meal or some delicious steak in order to serve for dinner, because guys like a woman who eats, not starves.
Over sharing personal things
While you do want honesty with one another, you should not be ruining the moment with things that have happened in your life. You should be thinking about cheerful and happy stuff to tell as stories and not start recounting your problems.
Don’t even mention health issues, menstrual cycles, arguments you might have had with someone, conflicts with the friends or family or even problems at work.
Look at the body language displayed by your partner. It is important, in order to judge as to what he is trying to convey. Does he lean over to you? Does he cross his arms? Is he leaning away from you?
