2/3 rd Brit women not aware of heart disease risk

London – It sounds strange but it is a fact that as per the survey conducted about 2/3 of Brit women are unaware about the heart disease being the prime reason of death among females.
The researches also depicted that 78 % of women are unaware of the truth that they are at maximum danger once they have gone through the menopause, reports the Scotsman.
Health food product company Benecol stated that due to reduction in oestrogen often leads to raise in the quantity of cholesterol in the blood and 88 % of women aged 55 to 64 have high levels.
As per the British Heart Foundation, heart disease accounts for 275 deaths in the United Kingdom daily.
