Soak the cereals in a bowl of hot or cold skimmed milk for 2-3 minutes and you have your healthy breakfast ready.

Fruits are also a great breakfast item. You can cut small pieces of apples, bananas and grapes and add these to the milk and cereals. If you do not have the time to do all the cutting and chopping though, you can even have a whole fruit without much fuss.

Breakfast bars made from oats, nuts, cereal, are also a very good option to start your day with. Many such energy bars are readily available in supermarkets and health stores. You can munch on one such bar and rest assured to get more than required dose of vitamins, iron and carbohydrates.
