pearlIf you heard that your friend recently visited a beauty salon for a pearl facial, then don’t turn green with envy. You too can look stunning if you know how to use a pearl face mask at home. Although pearl facial sounds like a new concept you will be surprised to learn that women used this recipe even when there were no beauty salons.

They used natural ingredients and whatever useful they found in their kitchens. The items ranged from milk to honey, from herbal concoctions to fruits and of course they were skilled in using pearl powder.

Get started

Here is how to get started. The first step is to wash your hands with soap. Next cleanse your face with cotton balls soaked in milk. Boil a pot of water with a few rose petals in it. Let your skin absorb the vapor from this water for about 5 minutes.

Scrub your face

Scrub your face with a natural exfoliation mixture that you can prepare at home by mixing one tablespoon of milk and a little bit of almond powder. Wash your face and wipe it. Now it is time to make the pearl facial mask.

Make the Pearl Pack

Take one teaspoon of pearl powder, one tablespoon of rice flour, and one tablespoon of kaolin. Make a smooth paste with sufficient amounts of boiled water. Apply this facial mixture all over your face and leave it for half an hour. Soak a cotton pad dipped in rose water and wipe your face with it. After that, wash your face with cool water. Finally apply a nice pearl cream over your face and neck to get radiant and glowing skin.

Now you too can have a pearl facial at home. Pearls are great for improving your complexion and many creams have pearl powder in them. Wear your pearls and use them on your skin as well.
