How to take care of Dry Hair

Just like oily hair, dry hair also becomes very painful at times. If you don’t know the right ways to take care of your dry hair, it can become a nightmare. So, know the right therapies for your dry hair and get silky soft and manageable hair. Here are some magic tricks and homemade remedies for tackling dry hair.

Massage your hair and scalp with coconut oil (or any other hair oil will do). Heat the hair oil a little and apply it on your hair. Massage gently and wash off with lukewarm and shampoo. Massage is a real good treatment for dry hair. Regular oil massage can give you healthy and manageable hair within 2 weeks.

Always use conditioner after washing your with shampoo. Dry hair must be gently massaged with mild conditioner. After bath conditioners as well as shower gels will be helpful. However, try to use mild conditioner instead of chemically rich ones. Rich chemicals will damage your hair.

Olive oil is another ingredient that is good for your dry hair. Heat two table spoons of olive oil in a bowl and gently massage your hair and scalp with it. After massaging, take a plastic bag and wrap your head with it. Leave it for one hour and then shampoo with lukewarm water.

Mix Castor oil with glycerin, vinegar and almond oil. Apply this oil mixture to your scalp and hair thoroughly. Massage your hair gently for few minutes. Keep it for 30 minutes and then wash off with shampoo and lukewarm water.

Mix curd and honey and apply to your hair and scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes and rinse off with shampoo. Curd is a helpful in making your hair soft and smooth and more manageable. It also takes away the dryness from your hair.
