Camping trips are very refreshing and fun loving experiences. It can be a welcome change from the day-to-day monotony and hectic life. You get to see new places, meet new people, and get valuable experiences by going on camping trips.
To make your journey safe and comfortable, you need to pack just the right amount of items for the trip. Your luggage should neither pose an inconvenience to you nor should it be insufficient for your needs during the camp.
Make a master list of all items you need to take for the camp, or obtain a list of items from the organizers of the camp. Follow their directions so that you not end up taking more than what is required, nor do you miss on essential things.
Get to know more about the place of visit, the climatic conditions, living arrangements etc so that you can decide about the shoes and clothes. Use a good quality sports shoe that will be comfortable for the feet, and also carry an extra pair of sandals for moving about casually.
Decide upon the clothes after studying the climatic conditions. Wear lose and comfortable clothes. Choose clothes that are not tight fitting, and those that do not restrict free movement.
Pack all your toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, creams, face wash, tissues etc in a compact box, so that you do not have to hunt for it. Keep the medicines in a separate box.
Buy a good and sturdy bag with may compartments to store all your belongings. See to it that the bag has adequate grip to catch it, hang it over your shoulders or move it on the surface/floor with ease, so that transporting or handling your luggage does not become frustrating.
Start packing well in advance. Do not wait for the last minute, as there are chances of overlooking important items.
Put on labels indicating your name and address in the carry bag so that you can locate it easily among other bags.
