Who hasn’t relied on the instant cook noodles for a quick-fox of hunger. Everyone has been addicted to Maggi noodles at some point of time or the other, may it be in the school days, or when you were staying alone in a school dorm.
However, when you have enough time on hands, this simple, quick-fix dish can be transformed into an elaborate recipe and make for a delicious, lip-smacking meal. To make spicy Maggi noodles, first you need to boil the maggi as usual. Drain the remaining water and allow to cool down. Do not mix the tastemaker as yet.
To spice up your Maggi and give it a real oriental flavor, all you need to have are some fresh vegetables. These will definitely all to the taste and the nutrition value. While tomatoes and onions make the basic gravy, you can also add carrots, French beans, cauliflower and cabbage to make the delicious spicy magi curry.
First, chop one onion into fine pieces. Next, chop 5-6 garlic cloves Grate one inch of ginger. Make fresh puree out of two medium sized tomatoes. Wash all the vegetables well. Then, finely chop fresh carrots, beans, and a piece of cabbage. Make bite-sized pieces of cauliflower.
Heat oil in a pan. Next, add ginger and garlic. Sauté well for 2-3 minutes. After garlic turns light brown, add onions. Sauté well for another five minutes. When onions get pink and transparent, add the chopped vegetables all at once. Stir for five minutes and cover the vessel. Let the vegetables cook for another five minutes. Next add tomato puree.
Cook the tomato puree for another five minutes, till it changes color. Add four cups of water to this gravy. Add boiled magi and taste maker. Bring the gravy to boil just once. Switch off the gas and serve piping hot.
