Combine all the ingredients well and make nice dough. Now shape the dough to form a rectangle and roll it with a rolling pin.

Now you have to fold one third from the top as well as the bottom of the rectangle. Use your hands to neatly close each side. Chill the dough in a plastic bag for about half an hour. Next you have to twist the dough by 90 degrees. Roll it once again to form a rectangular shape. Then fold up one-third from the bottom and from the top. Seal the sides. Place it in the refrigerator for about thirty minutes. Repeat the same procedure twice. Make sure to chill every time you roll the dough.

Finally when you have finished folding it you have to chill it for about an hour. After that roll it out to form a big rectangular piece and cut it longitudinally into halves. Cut them into triangle piece and shape them to form crescent-shaped croissants. Now whip an egg and wash the croissant with the egg. Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet and make sure that they rise after 20 minutes. You can then bake them for 20 minutes so that they become golden brown.
