How to deal with premature skin-ageing

Skin is the largest organ of the human body and hence, it is justified to pamper it, take due care of it regularly. Premature skin ageing can be controlled by making some basic lifestyle changes.

Many women also use good quality cosmetics and moisturizing, skin-toning creams but are not satisfied with the results. This is because, pre-mature skin ageing is not the result of just one single factor, but occurs due to a mix of several conditions. An unbalanced diet, lack of exercise and even excessive use of cosmetic products can leave your skin looking dry and dull. Here are some ways to deal with premature skin-ageing.

Drink enough water- Water is the most important step towards having a glowing skin. Consume at least two glasses of water every hour. Hydrate your face by frequently washing it. Use a good moisturizer after every wash.

Stop smoking- Research suggests that smoking is related to premature skin ageing. Reduce smoking and slowly quit it altogether.

Fix a sleep time- Body needs a just amount of sleep every day. Do not neglect your sleep schedule and make it to the bed within an appointed time. Sleeping late or disturbed sleep can lead to dark circles, eye bags and puffy eyes.

Take multi-vitamins- After a certain age, your body needs additional supplements. Make sure you have enough fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Consult your doctor and start taking multi-vitamin pills. This will help skin repair over a period of time.
