Eggs are rich in vitamin A, B12 and D.  It contains proteins, amino acids and high level of sulphur.  It does not contain highly saturated fat and does not add up too many calories on consumption.

Food preparation with eggs is very simple and less time consuming.  Boiled eggs for the morning breakfast is a good option.  You can also have sandwich with slices of boiled egg.  Omelet is another item you can make by adding cut pieces of tomato, onion and spinach to battered egg.

Egg white and egg yolk are also known to improve the facial skin and hair.  A mask of beaten raw egg applied to the hair, moisturizes the hair, and prevents dryness, brittleness and breakage.  It also makes the hair smooth and shiny.  Similarly, a mask of egg yolk applied to the face makes the skin smooth and gives a glowing and fresh appearance.
