How to benefit from almonds

almonds Almonds are a rich source of many minerals and vitamins.  It contains minerals like iron, copper, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus.  It is also a source of vitamin B2 and vitamin E.  It contains proteins and folic acid.  

Almond has variety of health benefits.  It is also a component of various food preparations for garnishing.  It can be included to make delicious desert items.  In addition, almond has beauty benefits, and is a part of various home remedies for face and hair care.

Almond milk is a healthy and nutritious drink, especially for kids.  It is not only tasty but helps to improve their memory power and mental agility.  Eating raw almonds are also beneficial instead of munching on deep fried fatty unhealthy chips or wafers.

Soaking almonds overnight, and consuming it in the morning also is healthy for the body and mind.  Eating soaked almonds at night helps in easing digestion and prevention of constipation.

It contains dietary fibre and helps in case of constipation.  It also helps to strengthen the bones and muscles.  It helps to prevent osteoporosis among women.  It can be useful for pregnant women too as it contains folic acids.

Massaging almond oil on the scalp can prevent hair fall, graying and thinness and dryness of hair.  A paste of almond and milk applied to the face helps in reducing acne, pimples and dryness of skin.
