How to Bake Whole Wheat Bread

In order to make delicious whole wheat bread you need two cups of whole wheat flour, two teaspoons of dry yeast, two teaspoons of oil, two teaspoons of salt, two teaspoons of brown sugar, and some lukewarm water to make the dough. Make sure that the water is not very hot otherwise it will destroy the yeast. You also need a standard sized loaf tin. Grease it and keep it ready.

Steps for Making Whole Wheat Bread

Preheat your oven to a temperature of 375 F. Then you have to dissolve the brown sugar in some lukewarm water. Throw some yeast on top of it. Keep it in a cool and dry place for about minutes. The mixture will be ready when it becomes frothy. Now take a bowl and combine together the yeast solution, salt, flour, and oil in it. Slowly add some water and beat well. You can also take the help of an electric beater if you want to. The final batter should be a thick paste.

Now gently pour the batter into the greased tin. Make sure that half the tin remains empty. Leave it untouched for about an hour so that it rises. You can cover the tin with a damp cloth or a cling wrap. When the batter becomes double of its volume then you have to bake it for approximately an hour in the preheated oven. Make sure that the bread becomes brown. Slice the bread when it is cool and serve fresh.
