The idea is to keep head little upward so that the mucus can easily discharge from the nose. Patient should also take water vapor; this will loosen and helps in easy discharge of mucus. Similarly, inhale salt solution (take a pinch of salt in your hand palm and add 2-3 drops of water in it) through one side of the nose, by closing the other side. Warning: I tried the cinnamon powder paste on my face and removed it immediately due to burning sensation. It burned my skin instantly. My face is red and sore like a sunburn. Do not try this remedy as it only adds another layer of discomfort to the pain of sinusitis!

Sinusitis tends to be a very annoying and recurrent affection. Advances in traditional natural therapies have made it possible to not only to relieve the symptoms of sinusitis, but also to balance immune responses of the individual to ensure long-lasting relief. Biogetica - The therapies have natural anti- inflammatory properties, which help reduce congestion in the sinus cavity. Mucus collected in the sinus cavities is liquefied and drained out adequately. The immune system is geared up to tackle any kind of bacterial or viral infection which could lead to Sinusitis.

how can i flush out the mucus from the sinus in my cheek area? Somebody please help...
#33 - swollen face - 07/25/2014 - 15:29
Dear Swollen face,
I would highly recommend the flip turn sinus flush. You can find it on the internet posted in a sinus forum by friggy. I have personally used this it really works and is recommended by a lot of ENT's as you know antibiotics don't always help with sinus.
I use one cup distilled water and 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp 3% hydrogen peroxide and 3/4 tsp baking soda. You can also use 1 tsp baby shampoo in place of the baking soda (I've done this too.) It will sting a little at first but you'll get used too it. That being said the sinus's in the cheek can be the hardest to reach, so you might want to do it more than once. Just not more than twice a day for 10 days. This may be the one thing that helps. On a side note anyone with severe ear pain will want to try warming a small amount of peroxide and soaking it in a cotton ball (sized to fit in the ear) and let a few drops drip into the ear and put in the cotton ball and let it sit. This worked wonders for me and I have been having severe sinus pain. face pain, ear pain and numbness in my face for over 3 months now. I have had a CT, 3 rounds of antibiotics, antihistamines, decongestants, flonase and steroids. This is the first thing I have found that helps. Good luck
