If you wish to infuse your own style into your wedding and cut costs simultaneously, then these wedding crafts are just what you are looking for.

Finding the right wedding accessories can be a real pain at times. You can use these crafts to create wedding accessories like bridal shoes, fresh floral bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets and handmade ring bearer pillow to have exactly what you want.

Furthermore, these wedding crafts can be used to create unique favors for the guests and to decorate the venue of your wedding.

Wedding Favors Ideas

Message-in-a-bottle is one such original wedding favor idea. All you need are 4-5 inches tall glass bottles with a cork, colored thick paper that goes with your wedding color scheme and some metallic markers. Cut the colored paper into rectangular pieces that fit the bottle. Write the name of the bride and groom on one side of the paper along with the date of the wedding and a special message on the other side of the paper. Put a small amount of colored sand and sea shells in the bottle and then place the strip of paper in it. Glue the cork to the bottle and tie a ribbon around its neck. The wedding favor is ready.

Decoration Ideas

You can great some exclusive table centerpieces for your wedding day using Styrofoam. Take a piece of Styrofoam (there are endless possibilities of the shapes and sizes that you can use) and place a taper or a votive candle on it. Place artificial or fresh flowers and some theme related decorations around the candle to cover the Styrofoam completely.

You can also create some terra cotta pots to decorate your venue. Depending on the size you choose, they can be used as table centerpieces or be placed around the wedding altar. Buy some terra cotta pots and decorate them with fabric paints, beads, ribbons, glitter and more.

Another elegant table centerpiece can be a colored wine glass with a candle in it. Just tie a ribbon around it to enhance its appearance. Alternately, you can also float some flowers and floating candles in a small goldfish bowl.

Headpiece for Flower Girl

This is another interesting and easy-to-do wedding craft. If you have a flower girl at your wedding, this will be a beautiful gesture for her. Take a mesh circle and create a pattern of silk flowers around the mesh. Attach some streamers of ribbons on the underside of the mesh so they flow down the back of the girl's head and add color to her dress. Glue two or three flowers on the ribbons to complete the look.
