Valentine's Day is a special occasion to express your love and affection to the special people in your life. Valentine Crafts are a unique way of expressing this love. Add these handmade gifts to your Valentine gift basket and your partner will love the thought and the effort that went behind putting the gift together.

Sweetheart Candy Wreath

To make this Valentine craft you will need Styrofoam wreath of a desired size, lavender gingham ribbon, hot glue and conversation heart candies in large and small sizes.

Wrap the whole wreath with the lavender ribbon and secure the edges with glue. Now, glue the candies on top of the ribbon. Let them overlap a little. Attach a small loop made of ribbon on the wreath's back.

Your sweetheart will love to hang it outside her room's door.

Be Mine Wall Hanging

If you are out to impress a girl, then this wall hanging can do the trick.

You will need a brown grocery bag, cotton fiberfill, pinking shears, red and pink paints, paint brush, tooth brush, fine tip black marker, small material in gingham and a pink heart shaped button for this craft.

Cut out 2 large sections from the front and the back of the brown grocery bag. Place them on top of each other. Fold them in the centre and draw half a heart, so the fold is in the middle of the heart. Cut out the pattern with pinking shears.

Start pasting the edges of the hearts together, beginning at the bottom. Simultaneously fill the heart with cotton fiberfill, until the heart is comletely closed.

Now paint the heart with the red paint. Once the paint dries, use a toothbrush to spray paint the heart with pink color.

When the paint dries completely, use the black marker to write 'BE MINE' on the heart in an attractive font.

Cut a small heart from the gingham scrap material and paste it on the top right hand corner of the stuffed heart. Glue a pink button on top of it.

Attach a loop made of ribbon on the back of the heart, and your wall hanging is ready.
