Humpty Dumpty Balloon Sculpture

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Balloon sculpture is an interesting craft for kids and adults alike. Humpty Dumpty balloon sculpture is one of the simplest things that you can learn. Even kids can make these with a little practice. Clowns can make these at kids’ birthday parties to entertain children or you can also give them away as party favors.

You can blow the balloons with your mouth or use an air pump for the same. If you intend to make many Humpty Dumpty balloon sculptures, it is advisable to use an air pump so you don’t feel lightheaded.

Supplies Needed

  • A six-inch heart shaped balloon
  • A black permanent marker
  • An air pump

Instructions

Step 1: Hold the balloon and inflate it with the air pump. You don’t have to inflate it too much. Try to keep one side less inflated than the other, so it does not take the shape of a perfect heart.

Step 2: Twist the end of the balloon and tie it. This twisted end will make the back or rather the tail of your Humpty Dumpty balloon model.

Step 3: Now hold the so that the curved surfaces face you. The less inflated curve of the balloon will make the head of the Humpty Dumpty. Use the marker to draw eyes, nose and mouth on the curved surface of this side.

Step 4: The bigger curve of the balloon will make the tummy of your Humpty Dumpty balloon sculpture. Use the marker to draw arms on the sides of the sculpture’s tummy. You can also make a big dot in the centre of the tummy to give the effect of a belly button.

That’s it! Your Humpty Dumpty balloon sculpture is ready.

Trust me, the kids will love it and will certainly giggle on seeing it. So ahead and entertain the kids.
