Fathers play a special role in a child’s life. They are always around when you need them and do everything for you and the family. Show how much you appreciate your dad by crafting some Father’s Day gifts especially for him. Here are some Father’s Day craft ideas:

Homemade Father’s Day Card

Cut out pictures of things your dad likes such as soccer, skiing, boating, gardening etc from old magazines. Make a collage out of these on a piece of colored construction paper and add a rhyme or a poem to it. You can cut the construction paper in a special shape or decorate it the way you like.

Footprint T-shirt

Make a fun T-shirt with real footprints of your children on them. Here’s what you have to do. Fill a shallow dish with fabric color. Ask your children to step into dishes with different colors and then on the T-shirt. Let the footprints dry and then take a black fabric paint to write “My Kids Walk All Over Me” on the T-shirt. Your dad will love sporting this Tee.

Make a Kids Video

Make a video of your kids while they are busy creating their Father’s Day crafts. Play this video as a special treat on Father’s Day so the whole family can enjoy it.

Father’s day Gift Certificates

Take small pieces of cardstock and write ‘Gift Certificate’ on top of it. Use your imagination and write things like, ‘Wash the Car’, ‘Mow the Lawn’, ‘Take the Garbage Out’, ‘Breakfast in Bed’, ‘Hugs and Kisses’ etc on these. Add some blank Gift Certificates to the bundle tie them together with a red ribbon and gift them to your dad. He can retrieve these certificates whenever he needs your help around the house.

Go ahead, make this Father’s Day extremely special for your dad. Also read about following Crafts :
