Easter bunny pencils make a great back to school craft for kids. These are very simple to make and mainly require a pencil and pompoms. They are perfect party favors for kids on Easter parties. These bunny pencils are extremely adorable and can be personalized according to the child’s gender.
Supplies Needed for This Craft
- Pencil
- One large white pompom
- Two medium white pompoms
- One small pink pompom
- Blue or Pink ribbon
- Tiny milk cap or heart beads
- White chenille stems or pipe cleaners
- Two google eyes
- Tacky glue
- Black paint
- Felt or fabric
Instructions
Step 1: Take the large white pompom and glue it on the pencil to form the bunny’s forehead.
Step 2: Glue the two medium white pompoms together a little below the forehead to form the bunny’s lips.
Step 3: Glue the small pink pompom above the lips to form the nose of your bunny.
Step 4: Now, glue the google eyes in place.
Step 5: Make two identical loops from the chenille stem or pipe cleaner, suitable to be used as bunny’s ears. Cover these with felt fabric (pink for girls and blue for boys). Glue these ears on top of the bunny’s head.
Step 6: If you are making the Easter Bunny Pencil for a boy then paint a milk cap with black paint, when the paint dries stick the cap on the bunny’s ears. Make a bow tie out of blue ribbon and stick it under the bunny’s head.
If the bunny pencil is for a girl then use heart beads instead of cap. Stick these beads under the bunny’s ears to make hairpins. Use a pink ribbon to make a bow with tails and fix it under the bunny’s head.
