Birthday T-shirt fun is not just an interesting birthday party activity for kids, adults too enjoy participating in it. Just design some funky sponges and ask your guests to fool around with colors. Supplies Required
- Plain white T-shirts
- Fabric paint in black color
- Tempera paints in different colors
- Heavy paper plates
- Paint brush
- Scissors
- Marker
- Pack of kitchen sponges
- Old newspapers
Instructions
In order to include birthday t-shirt fun as a party activity you need to plan a day or two in advance. Follow the steps given below, a day before the party.
Step 1: Take a marker and draw different birthday related patterns and designs on the sponges. These may include designs of balloons, candles, cakes, streamers etc.
Step 2: Cut out these designs and keep them ready for use.
Step 3: Just before the party begins cover the workplace with old newspapers and lay down the T-shirts flat on them. Pour the tempera paints of different colors in different heavy paper plates and along with the designed sponges, fabric paint and paint brushes place them near the work place.
Step 4: Ask the guests to pick up the desired shape, dip it in any color and then press it anywhere on the T-shirt. Make sure they don’t press to hard or the color will spill. The guests may also use fabric color and paint brushes to write a message on the T-shirt or autograph it.
