Are you planning on giving a gift to a guy, but you aren't sure what to get? If so, these suggestions might give you a better idea of some possibilities.
First of all, you might want to think about what types of activities or hobbies he's interested in. Is the guy you are shopping for into cars? If so, there are a lot of possible gifts you could give him to use for his vehicle, such as a personalized garage sign (with his name on it), a GPS navigational system, a tool set, a license plate frame, a portable vacuum (to clean the interior with), a car cover (to protect the car from the outdoor elements or dust from inside the garage), a keychain, a car duster, driving gloves, or a car wash kit (with various soaps, sprays, waxes, etc).
If the guy you are shopping for is more of the outdoors type, then there is a lot of related gifts you can give him to use outside. Some of these items might include such things as a backyard hammock, a tent, an outdoor reclining chair, a portable weather monitor, a backyard beverage cooler, an inflatable canoe or kayak, a pair of sunglasses, or a pair of binoculars. If he also happens to be a fisherman, there is a lot of fishing related products available and would make great gifts. Some of these items could be a fishing rod, a tackle box, or a GPS fish finder.
Clothing would make a good gift for a guy. When buying clothes, consider what he typically wears. Is he a casual dresser, or does he dress more professional? Some casual clothes could include a t-shit, a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes (athletic, sandals, etc), a sweatshirt, or a pair of shorts. If he is more of the well-dressed type, you could consider giving him a polo shirt or dress shirt, a tie, cufflinks, dress pants or dress shoes. You could also give a piece of men's jewelry to him. A watch would probably be the best bet for a jewelry gift, most guys prefer analog instead of digital, unless they do a lot of walking or running, then a digital watch might be more appropriate for those types of physical activities. Some men may wear other types of jewelry, such as necklaces, bracelets and rings. It just depends on the individual, so you should be aware of what he typically wears, before considering buying something like that.
Some other items that would make good “gifts for him” are a wallet, a bottle of cologne, an electric razor, a watch, an mp3 player or a digital camera. If you still don't know what type of gift is right for him, then you could just simply give him a gift certificate for his favorite store. This way, he'll be able to pick out whatever he wants for himself and you won't have to worry about whether or not he'll like it or not.
Hopefully you've found these ideas to be helpful in choosing a "gift for him" gift.
