Fruit pizzas are slowly becoming as popular as the traditional pizzas. They are equally delicious and the kind of fillings and fruits that you use in the pizzas can be varied. To make delicious as well as visually appealing fruit pizzas, align the fruits in beautiful patterns of different sorts or simply place them randomly on the top of the pizza base.
For holidays and different special occasions, you can make fruit pizzas on top of cookie dough, by using cream cheese as the sauce for the pizza. If you are making the pizza for a particular person, array the pizza with the favorite fruits of that special person. A great way to top off this amazing treat is to provide it a whipped topping and sprinkle colored sugar on top.
Those who are watching their sugar intake should pass off on the cookie dough and make use of crescent roll dough for the pizza crust. Though this would make the pizza less sweet, but it is undoubtedly healthier. You can also replace the sugar with low-calorie sugar substitute on the pizza to reduce the calorie and sugar intake.
