Rituals of festivals are followed in every religion for centuries. The highly important thing about rituals is they are respected in the same way as they were respected centuries ago. Though Hindus follow large number of rituals but people of other religions like Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs also follow their own rituals on a particular occasion.
Apart from festive rituals and rituals for worshipping of God, there are other rituals too related to the life cycle of a person. There are rituals associated with birth, education, wedding and death of a person. Whenever a person starts a new and important task, there are another set of rituals associated with that to seek blessings of deities.
Rituals are the important part of one’s culture and upbringing. It needs faith and devotion to follow them rather than logic.
