Small fun projects will keep the kids busy and get happiness out of it. Kids can create something unique for their mother on Mother’s day using Fun Craft. Here are some fun-crafts for small kids.
PREHISTORIC DINOSAUR SCENE:
Supplies Needed:
- A shoe box
- Green colored paper to cover the inside base of the box
- Sky-Blue sheet.
- Yellow sheet to cover the outside of the box.
- Black and brown stiff paper sheets to make standing Dinosaurs.
- Crayons and Markers
- Scissors, Glue stick, tape, thread and pipe cleaners
- Thin cardboard to stick the dinosaurs’ cut-outs
- Cotton-puffs for clouds and red glitter for lava.
Procedure:
Cover the inside base of shoe box with green sheet. Cover the back and top with blue sheet.
Cut different shades of green in irregular shapes and size to make bushes at the back.
Draw different kinds of dinosaurs on a sheet of paper and trace them on black and brown colored sheets.
Stick these pictures on the thin cardboard and cut these pictures.
Stick these cut-outs on the base of shoe-box.
Make a volcano and lava at the back of the shoe-box.
Stick some tree cut-outs also. Paste cotton balls for clouds.
From the internet, fetch some information on dinosaurs and write on the outside of box.
Send this to your kid’s school.
FINGERPRINT FLOWER-VASE:
Supplies Needed:
Two empty transparent glass jars.
Enamel paint in bright colors – pink, yellow, purple
Apron
Procedure:
Make the kid wear an Apron.
Take two glass jars- remove labels, clean and dry the jar.
Let the child dip the thumb into pink color and make petals of a flower.
Paint two flower-petals on each jar. Repeat with other two, as well.
Paint the centre of all petals with contrasting color.
Let the vase dry for 3-4 days in sun.
Put fresh flowers everyday.
