A True Story about a True friend:

Once there were two friends who were very close to each other. They were friends since they were kids. Both of them were neighbors and their parents were also friends. Both of the girls attended same school and same college. They were best friends and shared their secrets.

Once, one friend found that other friend was acting strange. She observed that her friend remained drowsy and sleepy all the time, avoids socializing and became violent if provoked. The first friend tried hard to know the cause behind this sudden change in her friend. Though her friend behaved violently first about being ask about the reason but then suddenly she broke down. She told that she was involved emotionally with a boy and he took drug. He was forcing her to take drugs also. And for buying drugs, he was forcing her to bring money often.

The first friend became shocked after hearing the story. Being a true friend, she decided to help her friend. She talked to counselor in her college for her friend about the ways to get rid of this habit of drug taking. Also she took care not to disclose this matter in front of anyone else.

Then she asked her friend to leave that guy. She reminded her of her dreams of becoming a successful professional, her parent’s prestige and other things related to her. Finally her friend agreed to leave that guy and took medication for leaving drugs. In this way she helped her friend and prevented her from taking a wrong path in her life. Only a true friend can do this.
