Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients:

Flour – 1 ¾ Cups

Bananas (Mashed) – 1 cup

Eggs – 2

Baking Powder – 2 tsp

Baking Soda – ¼ tsp

Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

Salt – ½ tsp

White Sugar – 1 cup

Vegetable oil – ½ cup

Method:

Preheat oven up to 350 F. Take a 8 x 4 inches loaf pan and grease them. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. In another bow, add bananas, egg, oil, vanilla extract and nuts. Mix all the ingredients and blend well. Pour this into prepared pans and bake for an hour. Take out cool on a wire wrack.

Banana Pie

Ingredients:

Flour – ¼

Ripe Bananas – 4

Butter – 1 tbsp

Boiling Water – 1 Cup

Vanilla – ½ tsp

Dark Brown Sugar – 1 cup

Evaporated Milk – ¼ cup

Salt – ¼ tsp

Cold Water – ¼ cup

Method

Take a saucepan and mix flour, salt and sugar in it. Beat egg and cold water together and make it smooth. Mix it with flour mixture and then slowly mix boiling water. Cook this mixture for 3 minutes. Now add butter, evaporated milk and vanilla with continuous stirring. Chill pastry shells and arrange banana slices in it. Now fill it with prepared mixture. Decorate with whipped cream.

Fathers Day Cake (Walnut Cake)

Ingredients:

Flour – 100 gm

Sugar – 100 gm

Chopped Wet Dates – 200 gm

Chopped walnuts – 50 gm

Eggs – 3

Baking Powder – ½ tsp

Soda Bi-Carb – ½ tsp

Unsalted Butter – 75 gm

Warm Water – ½ cup

Method

Take a cake pan and grease and dust it with flour.

Mix flour and baking powder and sift it 3-4 times from a muslin cloth. Beat eggs to make them fluffy. Take ½ cup water and soak dates with soda bi-carb. Beat sugar and butter till fluffy and add mixture of beaten eggs and flour. Add dates and walnut to the mixture. Pour this mixture in greased pan and cook in a preheated oven at 350 F for about 45 minutes.
