It is believed that eggs symbolize fertility and the new life. You can decorate your home on the occasion of Easter by colorful eggs. You can also gift those colorful eggs to your friends and relatives on Easter to wish them. You can buy colorful eggs or you can do this activity of coloring the eggs at home by yourself. Eggs can be colored in many ways. Though it is a simple task of just coloring the eggs but it needs skill and concentration. One wrong move and you will mess up the whole thing.
Rubber band eggs are a form of colored Easter eggs. You can make beautiful colored eggs using coloring solution and rubber bands.
Materials required for making Rubber Band Eggs:
- Hard Boiled Eggs
- Rubber bands of different Widths
- Food Colors or dye
Method to make Rubber Band Eggs:
This method is interesting as well as easy, even children can do it.
Take one egg and wrap rubber bands around the egg so to make a random and irregular pattern.
Take liquid food color dye in a container and dip the egg, enclosed in rubber bands, in it.
When you dip the egg into the dye, color will seep in some areas under the band and leave other blocked areas.
When you see that color is too bright, take the egg out of the dye.
Take a paper towel and put the egg on it to get dry.
Remove rubber bands when egg is completely dry; wait for complete drying of egg.
If want to have another pattern in another color, rewrap the rubber bands on the egg.
