Peach Cheesecake is a dessert which no one can resist. Besides being tasty, it is full of calories too. It is one of top Easter food recipes. You can always order one at the confectionery but it will be more delicious if you prepare it yourself at home; you will add your personal touch too. It is not at all difficult task to make peach cheesecake.
Here we have presented a simple recipe for you. It will give 6-8 servings. Preparation time for it is just 20 minutes and there is no cooking involved. Let us see how to prepare it.
Ingredients:
Yellow Peaches – 4
Gingerbread – 250 g (It is better to have it home made)
Butter – 100g
Brown Sugar – 30 g
Cream Cheese – 500 g
Natural Yogurt – 1 pack
Castor Sugar – 100g
Lemon -1
Egg Whites – 2
Sheets of Gelatin – 6
How to make Peach Cheesecake:
Keep the cheese in fridge for chilling.
Remove the upper crust from the gingerbread and have rough bread crumbs by grinding it in a blender at low setting.
Add brown sugar and butter in chunks. Mix all these to make a base.
Collect the entire base and cut with a 20cm diameter cake tin. Press it hard and refrigerate it for setting.
Take cold water in bowl and soak the gelatin sheets to soften them.
Take peaches, peel, deseed and cut in large chunks.
Wash the lemon and finely grate the zest and sprinkle its juice over the peaches.
Take out the cream cheese and beat it well with castor sugar and yoghurt. Add to its lemon zest.
Now it’s turn of gelatin; drain and heat it for few seconds in the microwave oven.
Beat the egg white until it makes soft peaks. Add to it remaining sugar and melted gelatin.
Add to it peaches and mix well.
Pour this mixture in cake tin, smoothen its top and keep it in refrigerator for about 6 hours to let it set.
Remove from the tin and serve it chilled.
