Lamb Mold Cake is another Easter lamb cake. Though, the pattern of both cakes may be based on lamb but flavor is quite different. This cake not only tastes good, it looks good and above that, it is quite interesting to prepare this cake yourself. You can use your creativity while decorating this cake. Here, we are presenting a very easy recipe for making Lamb Mold Cake.
Ingredients –
Flour (Sifted) – 2 ¼ cups
Sugar – 1 ¼ cups
Butter – 4 Oz
Milk – 4 oz
Eggs – 4 large
Baking Powder – 1 Tbsp
Vanilla Extract – ½ tsp
How to Prepare Lamb Mold Cake:
Take the lamb mold and rub vegetable oil or margarine inside it. Now bake it for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 375 degree F. Then take it out from the oven and let it cool off.
Take a large mixing bowl and pour sugar and butter in it. Cream them together in a blender with paddle attachment, until they are fluffy and light. Add vanilla extract to it.
Now add eggs, taking one at a time. Beat it thoroughly to make a smooth mixture.
Take another large bowl and pour flour and baking powder in it and mix them thoroughly. You can do it by sifting them together for 3-4 times; it will make lighter cake texture.
Start mixing milk and flour in the sugar mix; do it gradually at a low speed.
Wipe and re-grease the mold. Now pour batter in the front piece which should face down on the cookie sheet and set the back of the mold on top.
Bake it in preheated oven for one hour. Temperature should be 350 degree F.
After t is baked, cool it in the mold itself for 15 minutes and then using a butter knife, put the put mold apart. Gently tap it with fingers and have the cake in your hands.
Let the cake cool for several hours before icing.
You can use cream cheese or butter cream frosting for icing the cake.
