Ingredients:
All-Purpose Flour (Divided) – 2 cups
Miniature Jelly Beans (Cut in Half) – ¾ Cups
Granulated Sugar- 1-1/4 cups
Butter Softened – 1Cup
Cream Cheese (Softened) – 8 Ounces
Eggs – 3
Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
Baking Powder – 1 ½ tsp
Salt – ¼ tsp
Confectioners’ Sugar
How to Prepare Jelly Beans Confetti Cake
At the very first step, set the oven at 325 degree F (165 degree C) for preheating. While you are doing preparations, oven will get ready for baking.
Prepare a 12 cup fluted tube pan for baking. First grease it and then sprinkle the flour inside the pan.
Take a bowl and pour jelly beans and two table spoon flour; mix them well and keep aside.
Take another large mixing bowl and pour butter, sugar, cream cheese and vanilla extract into it. Blend all these ingredients very well to make a fluffy mixture.
Now, start adding eggs but make sure you add one egg at a time and beat it well.
Take another bowl and pour into it remaining flour, salt and baking powder. Sift them thrice to mix them thoroughly.
Now fold this flour mix in the sugar mix but do it gradually. Blend it very well until it is fluffy.
Take 1 cup of prepared batter and pour into the greased tube pan.
In the remaining batter, mix in the jelly beans and pour this batter in tube pan.
Place this pan in the preheated oven and bake for one hour.
When it is baked, cool the cake for 10 minutes in the upright pan and then invert on a flat platter.
Use confectioners’ sugar and jelly bean confetti for topping of the cake.
