On the occasion of Easter, people usually clean and decorate their homes beautifully. One can always buy something beautiful from the market or stores. But there is another kind of sweet feeling if you make decorative items yourself for the occasion. You can make a cute Hanging Hare Door Knob.
Kids can easily make a paper version adornment while pre-teens or adults can enjoy making a foam version.
Materials Needed:
2 pieces of Easter colored ribbons – ½” to 1 “ wide and 1 ½ to 2ft long
2 Paper Plates
Construction Paper
Staplers and staples
Wiggly Eyes
Scissors, Glue, black marker or Crayons
Scotch Tape
Method To make it:
Take one paper plate and make a cute bunny face on its backside using marker or crayons.
Cut out bunny ears from the construction paper and attach them to bunny face by using double-stick tape. Paste wiggly eyes on the face.
Place the both plates face to face keeping the bunny face on outside.
Make a bow out of two ribbons and paste it on the backside of the bunny face.
Staple along the bottom of the plates and join it up to the plates. Keep the top open hold Easter candy like basket on the bottom. Secure it tightly by tape.
Now you can hang this on the door knob.
Instead of the Easter basket you can also attach other things like Easter pictures, Easter decorations. You can attach HOP-HOP-HOP in three colors below the Easter bunny cutout.
