The Golden Egg Book is another all time favorite Easter literature. This book was written and published in 1947 by Margaret Wise Brown. This book was is read and enjoyed with same enthusiasm as it was read in its initial times. Children of all generations love this story. This is the story about a rabbit that is lonely and his attics with an unhatched egg. As the storyline unfolds, you will read that little bunny accidently finds a beautiful blue egg. When he picks it up, he feels and hears that something is moving inside it. He becomes curious to know about what is inside the egg.
To satisfy his curiosity, he did everything. He becomes impatient and shakes, pushes, pelt it with stones and then at last he jumps over the egg to break it open. The egg was too strong and stubborn; it refuses to budge.
Now, there comes the main turning point of the story. Then to bunny’s surprise, egg begins to hatch and a cute little duck come out of it. It is the great gift for the bunny. This lonely bunny gets a friend in the form of duck; they both become friends.
