Materials Needed:
Easter Fabric: Plain colored and matching print, Matching Thread or flannel
Cut plain and print fabric (18” x 13”) for one placemat. Then cut flannel or batting of same size as that of fabric. Draw a line at 3” interval after measuring across each corner. Stack batting on the bottom and keep the plain fabric face down and print fabric right side up. Using straight stitch, stitch around outer edges. Make sure to sew the corners where marked. You must leave a 4” wide opening to turn the right side out. Trim the corners carefully using scissors. Turn the right side out and close the opening by hand stitching. Leave a distance of 1/2 “from edge and top stitch around the whole edge.
