Easter Lamb cake is one of the most popular and cute Easter cakes. Here we are presenting the very simple recipe to prepare this cake at home. This recipe can make up to 20 servings. Preparation time for this cake is 30 minutes and it takes 1 hour to cook.
Ingredients:-
Cake flour - 2¼ cups
Butter - ½ cup
Egg whites - 4
Milk - 1 cup
Baking powder- 2½ tsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
White sugar - 1¼ cups
How to Make Easter lamb Cake:
At first prepare baking mold for making Easter lamb cake. Smear vegetable oil inside the pan and let it stand for few minutes. Wipe extra oil with towel or paper and dust it with flour. Make sure that all the areas of the mold are prepared.
Set the oven at 375 degrees F for preheating.
Take a large mixing bowl and sift the cake flour, salt and baking powder. Keep them aside.
Take another large mixing bowl and pour in it butter and sugar; beat them to make a fluffy paste.
Gradually fold in cake flour and milk alternatively. Mix it well to make a smooth paste and then mix vanilla extract to it.
Beat egg whites in another bowl until it is frothy. Take one third of this and add to the batter prepared. Beat it well to make it light and fluffy.
Fill this batter into the mold and make sure that you fill it properly.
After filling, lock it properly.
Place this mold in oven and bake for about one hour.
After it is baked, cool it over the wire rack for about 15 minutes. Then remove the top of the mould and let it rest for 5 minutes before removing the bottom of the mold.
Then place this lamb on a platter and let it cool completely before any icing.
