You need:
Eggs as many as you want to color
A Child-safe sharp pin
A saucer which can hold the contents of the egg
Paint brushes, pencil, ribbons, glue, sticker stars
A cute garden basket
Method to color the eggs
First wash the eggs in running cold water and dry them with paper towel.
Now using a sharp pointed pin, make two small holes at each end of the egg.
Shake the egg vigorously to mix the yolk and white. Keep it over the saucer to take out all the stuff from the egg.
Then wash it again several times and let it dry overnight. Do the whole process for all the eggs.
Using a soft pencil, draw patterns over the egg shells. First decide about the pattern and the design before drawing.
Now paint the eggs carefully according to the motif.
Use one color at a time otherwise more than one color can run up into each other.
You can color some eggs in single color also.
You can cut tape in various patterns like circles, squares or zigzags and stick these on the eggs. After that dip those eggs in food color. Let it dry and remove the tape; you will get the desired pattern.
For having strips, you can wrap the egg in rubber bands in different direction and dip it in the color. After the color is dry, remove the rubber bands.
