Bunny mask looks very cute when you wear it on the occasion of Easter. Bunny is the special symbol of Easter and if you make a Easter bunny mask yourself it will add to the fun and festivities. It is very easy task to make an Easter bunny mask. Even kids can make it with your help. Let us see what you need to make it and how to make it.
Materials Needed:
- Colored Cards
- Child Safe Scissors
- Pipe Cleaners
- Pencil
- Black felt-tip pen
- PVA glue and brush
- Six plastic Straws
- Two Bath Sponges
- Small piece of white and Black Paper
- A ruler
Method to make Bunny mask
Take thin colored cards and draw a bunny’s face over it. Using scissors cut it out. It should measure 12’ wide and 24” long cut out.
Take both bath sponges and draw large circles on both to make the bunny’s cheeks. Then cut them out.
Draw small circle on black paper and cut out the nose.
Draw mouth using felt-tip pen. To make teeth, draw them on white paper and cut.
Now paste teeth and nose on the mask.
Using PVA glue, paste sponge cheeks and make sure you apply lot of glue as sponge will soak it up. Let it dry.
To make whiskers, take straws. Cut their sharp ends and using the PVA glue, inserts them in the spongy cheeks of the masks; three on each side. You can trim them if they are too long.
Make holes on both sides and put pipe-cleaner in them and twist it to secure. Now to wear it by hooking the pipe cleaner around your ears.
You can make this mask more attractive by coloring it. You can mix white and black color to make gray and paint front of the mask but ears should be black. Do it before applying any glue.
