Material needed
Canvas Garden gloves
Fibre Fill – enough to fill the gloves to give it shape
Various buttons, ribbons and fabric of your choice to decorate it
1/4 “Dowel Stick which is should be 6” to 8” long
Craft Glue
Jute
Orange and green Felt
Fine pointed black permanent marker
Paints and fabric markers or crayons
Method to make Bunny Hand Puppet
First of all tuck the thumb of the glove inside. It will leave a pocket from outside.
Now using glue fold index finger and little finger. This way you are creating bunny’s arms. You can also tuck little basket between two hands of the bunny.
Now it is turn of making ears. You can get tips of ears by folding middle two fingers.
After folding, starting adding color to give various features of bunny’s face. Inside the ears of bunny, add little color. Mark cheeks and nose. With the help of permanent marker, draw mouth, eyes, whiskers and eyebrows.
To make a carrot, roll small piece of orange felt and add to this many small pieces of green felt on the top of carrot using glue. Insert this carrot in the thumb pocket created earlier. Use glue to keep it in place.
Decorate it with various things like buttons and ribbons.
Also stuff in the fiberz fill to make cushion. Add dowel stick to anchor and tie with jute. Your bunny hand puppet is ready.
