Ingredients:
All-purpose Flour – 2 ¼ cups
Baking Soda – 2 ¼ tsp
White Sugar – 1 Cup
Brown Sugar – 1 Cup
Eggs -3
Apples - 7
Salt – 1 tsp
Butter – ½ cup
Ground Cinnamon – 2 tsp
Vanilla Extract – 2 tsp
How to prepare the Apple Easter Cake:
First of all peel, core and shred all the apples neatly.
Set the oven at 350 degrees F (175 Degrees C) for preheating.
Take a 10 inch Bundt pan; grease and flour it to make it ready for baking.
Take a large bowl and sift together all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon to mix all these ingredients nicely.
Take another large bowl and pour into it butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat them fast to make them creamy and fluffy. Then beat in eggs, taking one at a time. After that stir in vanilla extract.
Now pour flour mixture in the sugar mixture and beat it to make of fluffy again.
Then fold in apple shredding.
The batter is ready to be poured in the prepared baking pan. Put this in the preheated oven and bake for about one hour. Check it for its readiness by pricking a toothpick in the cake; it should come out clean.
Let the cake cool itself for one hour.
