SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Dragons are usually some of the most representative symbols of the Chinese elements. Feng shui dragons are also very symbolic and allow the people using them to create equilibrium and balance in their lives and the space in which they live. Dragons are representative of China and are one of the main elements of that culture.

Feng shui dragons represent the yang energy, or masculine energy. This strong force portrays creativity and activity. They can symbolize success in achievements and in prosperity. These effects can also be maximized where the dragon is placed.

When you are trying to select the place to put the feng shui dragon, you should keep in mind that it symbolizes activity, so it should not be placed in an area in your home that represents rest, such as a bedroom. Feng shui dragons also represent fertility, immorality and protection. These elements are very powerful and should be placed strategically according to where your want to represent those effects.

In Chinese tradition, dragons are symbolic of the number nice, and many feng shui dragons that you will see have a number nine that is contained in them. The number nine in ancient Chinese tradition is representative of luck and when you have a dragon that has the number nine on it, it is said that it can attract good luck to those who have it.

Also, an ideal place in the home to place a feng shui dragon would be the east side. By placing the dragon on the east side of your home, it could empower the positive effects and help those occupying that space to gain success and be prosperous. Depending on what areas of your life that you want to improve or work on, feng shui dragons can be placed in those areas of your home.
