Set a Goal

You must have a clear goal in mind that you expect to achieve. I’m not talking about a half hearted approach; I want to lose 5 or 10 pounds. I’m talking about a total life transformation. Lifestyle changes to make you energetically want to get out of bed each morning to conquer the day.

Visualize the Goal

You’ll need to close your eyes. Allow your minds eye to see the new you performing your daily routines in your new body. Hear the compliments at work, in the park, and even at the beach! See yourself catching the eye of that special someone as they take double takes at your new body.

Stand tall; show the world that you’re proud of your accomplishment. You’ve won the prize now share it with the world.

Write Down Your Goal

Third you’ll need to write your goal down somewhere. It needs to be where you will look at it often and refer to it when you’re feeling unmotivated. To reinforce your vision of you’re new image you’ll need to find some pictures of body styles you would like to simulate.

If you like, paste your own head on these pictures. These bodies will become yours in a short time. Yours will most likely be better. Keep a journal of progress to share later.

Plan of Attack

Now’s when you’ll get down to the working part of the weight loss plan. You’ll need some sort of workout to follow. Now don’t get upset and quit yet. OK. Your workout plan doses not have to involve an expensive gym or complicated piece of equipment.

Keep it simple, a brisk walk or jog will improve your body image and health dramatically. The key is to stick with it. Make it part of your lifestyle that you can not miss.

Diet

Diet and exercising always go hand and hand if you do one without the other you’re only reaping half the benefit. Please don’t regard dieting as something awful. Diets are simply what you eat, everyone has a diet.

The only thing that makes diets different is how they’re planned out. There are countless books and websites that are available to aid you in your dieting quest. I know that there is bound to be one or several that will meet your special taste. Look around try them out and please have fun with it.

Share

When others around you start noticing the changes in you, and they will, share with them what you’re doing. Tell them how you’ve made progress. Don’t forget to give them the steps and tell them where they too can get the information to make positive changes in their lives. Share with them all of the little great things that happened to you through your journey of transformation.
