Worst Commercial Beverages to Avoid
You wonder why you are still having problems with weight even though you eat right and do enough exercise. Well, the problem is not what you eat but what you drink. Publications in the media have made us aware that sugar drinks are not good for us. So, now most health conscious people are turning to other commercial beverages like energy drinks, juices and coffees. But these new substitutes are as bad as what you might be running away from. Check this out.
Soft drinks
Soda has now become a staple in America. Children drink it as if it is water. In fact they drink more of it than they do drink water. And the companies who produce these drinks are aware of this fact so they make sure they keep on producing more than enough for every citizen. In fact they produce on the average 53 gallons per person. But studies have shown that those who consume sugary drinks are more likely to be overweight with its associate problems.
Coffee Drinks
You don’t want to have any sugar drinks, so you think a cup of coffee drinks is better. You are not making any difference at all. Your cup of coffee drink comes with a load of sugar that is comparable to or even worse than the can of soda you are avoiding. This is as dangerous as eating some candies or doughnut. Take some coffee drinks for dessert but know that is not as healthy as you think.
Alcohol
You must avoid alcohol if you are conscious of your weight. Some alcoholic drinks like the mixers and cocktails are very high in calories. There are some off-the-shelf drinks also that are quite unhealthy for you. Alcoholic beverages, apart from red wine, contain no vitamins and nutrients. Drinking them is just adding more calories to your system.
You must be very conscious of what you are drinking. If you want to drink juice, make sure it contains lesser amounts of calories and also it is 100% juice. You don’t need the so called sports or energy drinks before your exercise or after. Those commercial beverages are not good for you.
