Winner or Loser in Fitness?
The winners DO all things necessary for keeping them fit whereas the losers DON’T. If you are keen on achieving your final objective, you should DO things that are required for your fitness goals.
There is no magic wand available in the world to get your body in good shape; if anyone says there is, they’re lying. Getting your body in shape necessitates tough work. You must be committed as well as persistent. It all amounts to “DOING” things.
People have a tendency to search for the best fitness program. This does not happen in practice. The best thing is to start “DOING”.
You may not succeed immediately; winners try again and again and make necessary adjustments to their fitness programs based on the results achieved. On the other hand, the losers tend to give up in the middle, complaining about how bad life is.
I was obese and weighing 240 lbs.; after exercising I brought down my weight to 185 lbs. The only thing I followed was to continue “DOING” it and this has brought about this drastic change.
Everybody knew that the keys for getting the body in shape are proper balanced diet and exercise. Knowledge alone does not produce results; you have to put knowledge into practice. This means “DOING” it.
Look at the achievers talked about in newspapers/television. They have succeeded because they have acted, whereas non-achievers failed because they did not care to act. Lance Armstrong and Michael Jordan did not become successful overnight. They worked long hours every day in their fields to achieve success. People envy such achievers, stating that they are lucky. No doubt these achievers are lucky and gifted; but they “DO” work for this success.
Take a look at yourself to find out whether you are “DOING” everything you need to do to get your body in shape. Be honest with yourself.
If the results are not satisfactory, you must start “DOING” it better.
