Why do we want to lose weight
When we decide to go on a diet and lose those unwanted pounds, the very first things that we should all do is to ask ourselves why? Why do we want to lose weight?Once you have asked yourself that very important question you should then ask why for those reasons.
Once you have your reasons listed on a piece of paper, put it somewhere that you are going to see it each and every day. In order for most of us to start and stay on a diet, we need some sort of serious motivation.
If your husband said that he was going to leave you or maybe your doctor said that if you didn’t lose 30 pounds your life as you know it would come to a complete stop, you may stop and think.
This means that in order to save your marriage or to keep your life moving you will need to get 30 minutes of exercise a day and change your eating habits.
My gosh, that means that you will actually have to change your lifestyle just a little and make new accommodations.
Sometimes even though we want to do something, it does not necessarily mean that we are going to get up off our butts and do it. Once you start your new plan, all it takes is for one little cold or your child being sick to change your routine and you could fall off the wagon that easily.
The trick is to be able to pick yourself up after having that one or two days off from whatever has held you back and start your routine once again. By doing this, you will be able to reach your goal weight, and keep it off so you look and feel great.
For so many of us, losing 10 pounds is a great accomplishment. Don’t let a little set back keep you from reaching your goal and losing the weight that you want.
All it takes is a little determination and a whole lot of wanting and you can make your dream become a reality.
