What Circuit Training Can Do For You

There are only a few people who actually understand what circuit training is and the benefits that could be derived from it. For most people, it is one of those things that people who like workouts do.Some will even say it is a kind of yoga. But circuit training can be good and beneficial to all. Circuit training has the purpose of keeping you in motion, allowing you to take only minimal breaks. The rest periods last for about 10 seconds.

Benefits
The first thing is that it helps you to work on your aerobics at the same time you are working on improving your strength. You increase the amount of testosterone you release because the rest periods are fewer and shorter. This will help your muscles grow. You don’t have to spend long periods in the gym anymore because circuit training takes a short period for a section to be completed.

Some sample exercises
You can try the monster circuit which consists of six exercises to be done six times. 10 reps must be performed for each exercise. You can start all over again once you complete all the six exercises.
1. Chinnies. This is the first step. Lying flat on the floor with arms beside, try bringing your knees to your chest while trying to raise your chest to meet it.
2. Pushups. These are the normal pushups. Keep hands at chest level to target the right muscles.
3. Squats. No weights are required. Just squat as low as possible while crossing your arms and holding them parallel to the floor.
4. Jackkninves. They are like chinnies. With the legs straight, try to touch your feet by raising both feet and arms
5. Running As. You run on the spot trying to kick your chest with your knees.
6. Burpies. From a standing position, squat and place your hands on the floor and kick your legs out. After a second bring back the legs and explode from the floor jumping as high as possible while you straighten the waist. When you land bring back your hands to the floor. Repeat 10 times.
You must still include some normal strength training to work all muscles.
